What does the Lord require of you?
But to do Justice,
and walk humbly with our God.
From serving our neighbor who sits next to us in the pew, who lives down the street, who lives on the other side of the country or the world, we are called to serve our neighbors in need.
We do this through many ways, from hosting Chardon's food pantry to providing a meal for our brothers and sisters staying the night at Project Hope, to collecting goods for our friends at Next Step, JFS, the Cleveland Christian Home, and Refugees resettling with CRIS-Ohio; from creating prayer shawls to hosting give-aways; from working within the congregation to working with our brothers and sisters in the Disciples and UCC to share what we have to seek justice throughout the world. We serve because serving is how we follow Christ and how we grow in compassion and grace.
