It was a beautiful sight to look into the sanctuary and see the vibrant colors and textures of the Prayer Shawls this past Sunday. It is a powerful ministry brining grace, peace, and comfort to friends, family, and complete strangers - a tangible connection that the person who receives such a shawl is not alone but interwoven in a physical web of relationship and compassion. It is to see God’s Love breathe comfort and peace. Such is a dimension of God’s Love that it brings healing to the hurting - tranquility to those upended by chaos. Such is the work of God to channel and course this Love through our hands.

This Sunday, three Pilgrims are heading down to Camp Christian! Logan Gilles and Paul Hederstrom will be attending as campers for Chi-Rho, and Mariah Moore will be serving as a counselor. Camp is made sacred by the spirit of the staff, counselors, campers, and God who create the beloved community within this place and time. AND, one way to share in this experience is by sending mail to those who are attending from Pilgrim Christian Church.
If you would like to send a letter or care package, please send it to the following address:

Meet Lynn Felberg and Jeanne Osborne-Felberg
Lynn is a life-long resident of Geauga County and moved to Chardon in 2003. She and Jeanne own a home here and enjoy country living. Lynn is a huge sports fan and spends lots of time cheering on all our Cleveland teams. She is a prankster and loves to go to any length to make people laugh and smile.
She is the kind of person who would give a stranger the shirt off her back. Her job is with Great Lakes Cheese in Hiram. Where she has been employed for the last 33 years, holding many different positions.
She is currently a senior machine operator. Some of her hobbies include, genealogy research, gardening, and spending time with our family which is very important.
Lynn has historical connections to PCC as well. Her parents were married here more than 54 years ago and her great grandparents attend church here as well.
Jeanne is also a life-long resident of Geauga County. She is a creative individual who enjoys restoring antiques, making gifts for family and friends, gardening, and hosting large gatherings in their home for family and friends. She shares her gift of service to all, both personally and professionally. She is currently the General Manager of Jekyll's Kitchen, a restaurant in Chagrin Falls. She has more than 30 years experience in this industry, as an executive chef and leader of a business.
Lynn and Jeanne enjoy their treasure hunting trips to find their antiques and collectibles. They love to travel , they are avid readers and they like to sip a good glass of wine on their patio. She and Jeanne look forward to being more active in Church programs and sharing their gifts with their new Church family.
Thank you to everyone who brought food to share at the potluck, to everyone who helped set up and do some of the cooking, to everyone who helped clean up, to everyone who organized it and to all who came! It was a beautiful day and a great time to share in good fellowship with one another in this congregation. We are ever mindful of the relationships that are created and nurtured - the ties of community that are cultivated - during the breaking of bread together.
REV. CHRIS VACATION

MEAL DELIVERY VOLUNTEER:
We definitely need a sub for our 3rd Tuesday meal delivery route. I do 1 & 2 week and Mary Carson does 4 & 5 week. We have been doing this for over 10 years. Have them contact Vickie Craig, please, as I will be gone all of July. It is a short, easy route. Many thanks!
We're still looking for a replacement for Vickie Craig to deliver meals on the third Tuesday of each month. Please contact Vickie, Roz Kvet, or Mary Carson if you're interested.
